OMG, somebody should have told me that Woodmann was such an ass.

Just kidding.

He's really a great guy.
Meeting him and the others is really one of the best things of this conference.

Howdy,

Sorry I had to leave so early.
My real life work was calling and I need to be there on Monday.
I wasnt planning on leaving until Monday afternoon but,
shit happens :D .

I met some incredible people this year.
It seems like every year they get better and better.
Actually, everyone I met this year have great talents.

I would love to tell you all about everyone I met and how cool they
are but, it would be an extremely long post.

They are all great reversers and I wish more of them would post here.
As for the great ones who do post here, you know who they are :D .

OK, I have used the word great too much but, they are really very talented.

Lastly, to WTBW, best wishes with your future endeavours.
I hope you will still stop by and give us some guidance.

ReCon 2008 has come and gone.

Everybody was wondering where Woodmann had gone.

This was the first conference that I attended and participated in.
It is a really great experience.
I recommend it to everybody.

And I got a Woodmann shirt too. :D

ReCon was really great this year (you missed a good one yatesy). Nice to see some old faces again and meet some new ones!

Thanks Woodmann, I can't extract this part of my mind and I still have one idea I'd like to work on, so you're not quite rid of me yet ;)

I tried to call you room a few times but no answer...

If you see this before leaving, give me a call.
I left a message on your voice mail.

My stomach had time to rest a bit since the conference. :D

I concured with what many had already said, it was great to finally associated faces with handles. I had fun meeting you all, and hope this is not the last REcon I will be able to attend. Now I have to wait two more years for it, oh well, I guess more time to get ready for it.

Woodman, thanks for the t-shirt, and as TiGa said, we missed you on Sunday. I even wore the T-shirt on Sunday. TiGa, I enjoyed your workshop, I got so much of it that now I need to make time to put it into practice. :D

Yes, let's not forget owl. :)

Most of the people at ReCon were sent there by their company.
It's nice to see other people attending on their own.
Who knows, maybe she'll be presenting something in 2 years.
It has all to start from somewhere.

Howdy,

There might not be a two year lapse.
Wait until the spring of next year to find out. :D

As a side note, I need to recommend a site:
http://www.iitac.org/

I will be boosting this site because it is very important
for reverse engineers.

This is a place that will help you utilize your skills as a
reverse engineer to aquire the credentials you need
to get a great job in the virus/malware/security sector.

There is no longer any shame associated with being a cracker/reverse engineer. Your skills are very much valued.

ReCon videos are finally available.

NEWS

16/06/2008: The conference is now finished. We hope everyone attending recon this year had a good time. Slides and materials are now being added to the speakers page, all should be available within a week
I guess that a standard ReCon week equals 4 to 6 normal weeks.
