    Can't run patched smartphone app

I've made some patches to a smartphone app (Windows Mobile 5), but when I run it, I get the following error message:

Access denied. The program cannot start because it is not digitally signed with a trusted certificate.

Is there a way to remove the certificate or re-sign it so that the app will run?

    thanks,
    Xybyre

    I got it :)

You can use signtool.exe to re-sign the patched app with your own cert. Now I can run my own "special" versions of apps.
