SI DS2.6 and Win98, the oddest thing ever

I've installed the SI that comes with DriverStudio 2.6 on my Win98.
    I've got a TNT2 card (nothing fancy .

Apparently when I boot with SI enabled, either my computer
reboots or hangs when it's time to enter windows. No error is
    displayed. nada...

Any1 have any ideas ?? this annoys the hell out of me...

I had the same thing happen. What I did was reinstall but only the core not the networking parts. After that it looked like it was going to hang after rebooting but started up and launched win98.
    Works great...
