    Thanks blabbs.

I got a bit reckless with my experimentation and inserted an 0xCC at the OEP of the target app. It worked, but an exception was thrown and things became unglued a bit. My registers windows would not show the registers, claiming they were not known.

I could single step find, and even BP, but without the registers windows it got tough.

Someone mentioned that I'd have to move EIP back a step but it was at the right address. I opened a memory window, which was already pointing at the EIP and changed the CC back to EB.

On sice you could turn off the exceptions if I recall correctly. Is there a way to do that in wdbg so the app will simply freeze when it encounters the CC?

[EDIT]...just noticed that SXE does what I want. Thanks again.
