    Windows "Shim Engine" aka "Application Compatibility Interface"

    They are about a very interesting feature in Windows XP and Vista, called the "Shim Engine" or "Application Compatibility Interface", and seems to be possible to use for very interesting purposes indeed. Or what about having Windows itself apply your crack patches to loaded programs, insert your hooks or log all API calls of an application for you?

    Cool stuff indeed, and Alex promises more to come (as mentioned in the little "road map" for this project in part 1 above).
