od under win98 question

cannot set bp at kernel32.dll,but under win2k,it work. why?

becuse win98 does not allow any break point in any system dlls
but win2k allows you to do it

but if you want you can use follow option and see what it does in those dlls
by perring at the place in dll but even single stepping inside dlls would not be possible in win98 while w2k will allow you to single step through
