newbie to the fullest but very willing need some help on how and when to use this prog during the process of cracking.Any help much appreiciated.

Use it to see what files the app uses & what parts get accessed. I.e., is the use counter stored in a file somewhere?

Another useful app for pw cracking is a CRC generator. When there are a bunch of data files & you don't know where the PW is stored, calculate the crc's of each file before and after you change the password. Then compare them to see which file changed.
