i am reallly new to this iwas trying to run carmageddon 1 with out the cd but no success
i cracked all the popups about the Cd not being in the drive but dont have clue abt the message that splashes across the screen saying 'Please Insert the Carmageddon Cd' i couldnt find this mssg in dsm strng ref.

Try to look at the Resources for that message

but dear this messg i'm talking abt is not a popup window but splashes across the screen and there's no strng reference to it in DSM

Ah ok
Well try to look into other files like *.DLL or something, it doesn't have to be in the .EXE
Especially when your saying "splashes", that makes me think about *.DLL
