About Flexlm Sign,help

I was confused about the sign in flexlm.
In flexlm 7.2,sign or the license-keys should be 12 characters by default
and I got 12 characters from my lmcrypter,when I use my license,the program tells me "inconsistent license",I found the sign in correct license is 20 characters,so I think the problem is here.
But how can I get 20 characters in flexlm 7.2?I didn't find any descriptions about it in prog.pdf and enduser.
Could you please help me with this?

but there's no "-long" in lmcrypt,what's wrong?
And I just got 16 character license key by that keyword "-verfmt 5",could you please help me?Thanks
