Hi Everyone,
I read through many tutorials and finally was able to find the hasp routine call. This is current stage where i am stuck.
http://rapidshare.de/files/4190330/hasp_shot_3.jpg.html
The problem is that the tutorial i was reading was made by ricardo narvaja in which he used an software known as topo 1.2 to make a graft in the main exe file and then write the emulator in that space. When i tried to make a graft using topo the main exe file becomes unusable. i now have a rought idea as to how write a emulator. What i dont get is where to write the emulator. btw the main exe file calls another file called haspvb32.dll which in turn calls the hasp32.

Topo is far from perfect, may work in some cases, not in others.
Read:
h**p://www.woodmann.com/fravia/covert1.htm

h**p://www.madchat.org/vxdevl/vdat/tumisc70.htm

and learn the steps to inject the code manually.

2. keep in mind that integrity checks may be detecting your injected code
and scewing things up

Hi,
Naides, Thanks for the reply. Iwas looking for a tool rather then an essay.I guess there is no short cut to RE. Lot more to study.
Thanks

there is also a tool called injecta V0.2

The only problem is that the help/instructions are in Russian or some other slavic language (The online translator Russian-English does not work) so at least for me is as good as nothing.
Also, the place where topo is most likely failing is in the correction of the PE headings. Look at them with PE - tools and see if by realigning them get you somewhere
