newbie prob: devoid of refz...

Thanx to all who helped me with my last little sticky wicket. Useful adVICE, all. Here's another conundrum I have faced too many times to count: I open up a proggie, type in name and ser #, write down the error message, like a good lil cracker, then fire up 32dasm, disassemble said proggie, and -dragimundo- no string refs a 'tall... Any tutes or advice for dealing with these suckers? Again, I'd appreciate it.

Your target is probably packed. That would account for the lack of string references.
