Unpacking an unknow packer

HI guys, i'm quite new in unpacking, so don't be shy on help me

i'm trying to unpack a program that uses his own packer...not any comercial packers like Aspack, UPX,bla bla...

O found the OEP using /tracex and i've tried to dump the image to an file...it dumps (i used /dump) but there is no pe header...
What can i do to dump it with pe header?

Did you search the board for clues?
how do you dump your file?
You should try upx first rather than jumping a l33t tall building
and kill yourself

pack a program using UPX and try to unpack that before trying to do something like this.
