powerdirector is 30 days trial and 3 mins recording time max in the trial version.
this version doesnt ask for a serial so i managed to patch it to remove the 30 days limit BUT could not find where to 3 mins recording limit is placed!
im using Olly to do the job!
any suggestions please?

3 min = how many milliseconds = something in hex to search for?

SetTimer/KillTimer?

WM_TIMER handled?

?

What happens when the 3 minute limit is reached, is there a dialog box, etc?

no! it doesnt show any msg! it just stops recording...

for timers i will try to trace this ...
