Hi

There may be a few scattered around. Check the I.D. and Crackz archives and the main essay site. Look for things like loaders, game trainers, memory dumpers, these should give you coding examples to be used in building a loader.

The PE format is also critical, you could check out source for accessing all the important PE structures from something like PE Labz 1.0 by Latigo.

The best way to learn is reverse a simple existing loader to see how it is set up and which calls are used.
