Below is a turning grille (6x6 matrix) transposition cipher, Rotations are clockwise. What is the sentence hidden in it?
*this require a good cryptoanalyze, so have fun
hint: use digraphs

S E I T I R
H T E I N E
C L E S T E
A C I E I W
H T V E E A
E D V E K R

hehe, why would that related to ORC?
i gave here a real cryptoanalyze problem,
this days ppl do MD5/RSA without even know how it works (thats a shame).
real crypto analayzer not only reverse it, they also learn, cryptoanalze it and find a better ways to attack/improve it.
anyway, no ORC has nothing to do with grille hehe D

Hello Bengaly !

Do you know the answer to the question or have you forgotten what you learned in the class demonstration to solve your homework (http://www.wisdom.weizmann.ac.il/home/albi/public_html/cryptanalysis/home1.htm)?

It seems to be a real challange, but one which can be solved.
When I manage to find some time I'll try it tomorrow.

Hello peterg70 !

You forgot to quote my link.
Next time I won't publish a link any more. Be honest, you didn't serach, you just cut of home1.html from the link and had the solution.
I was awake half of the night in bed thinking how to bruteforce this.
There are only 2^18 possibilities and I wanted to have a way to explain the answer ready before publishing the it.

DakienDX:

Sorry could resist. Did a simple search for the technique and lo and behold it poped up. After I had posted I saw your link (hard to see that homework was a link rather than underlined).

Bengaly:
Zen is the art of applying ones mind in a manner that offers enlightment and provokes a sense of accomplishment.

Zen lead me to use the search engines to discover the pages.
