Hi all, im a newbie cracker and I have been cracking now about 6 months and I have been stuck with ultraedit 8.0. I have done a "crack" to it, but It didnt work when I pathed the file..
So if anyone knows why, please tell me.

Ultraedit 8.0 is slightly advanced. May I suggest WinZip 6.0 or above for the same (as a starter??)

I have already cracked winzip 6.0 and some other versions...

Ultraedit 8.0 is a packed program (i think Aspack) probably the patch don't work because the exe is packed so first you must unpack it... or try to patch the packed program (a bit more difficult)

I don't think UE is/was ever packed ?

Just set a bpr rw on the bytes you want to patch..........this is called CRC. A system to check if the file has been modyfied by a virus called RCE.
