Somebody heard about Agilent License Manager before ?

I'm working on target from Agilent company ( Hewlett Packard previously ) . Their soft is very costly ( about 30000 USD ) and it's not a widely spreaded software , so I can't give an URL of this. I just thought may be someone worked before on Agilent targets.

By the way the License Manager also called WSP License Manager.

I think I know about it.The daemon is named hpeesofd because it was HP developed back in time.lmgr325c.dll AFAIK can be patched to return al=1 and make sure you have a license.dat with all features _a lot_ as I remember.Also you can retrieve good codes in memory with softice bpxing at the right time.This was for version 1.1x.Last is v1.3 and I dont have a copy to study it&share the details.

- However i know for a fact that the license option is not used on the Agilent trials (anymore). The old HP VEE used it, but the Agilent VEE used a trial system with nags and limitations, i dident see any switch to a license option atleast. And what software from agilent still uses the old HP daemon ?

All new targets from Agilent are not based anymore on FlexLM
like it was before. There is some new License Manager ( called WSP LM - also supports Sentinel dongles). I'm working on it now.

I have patched ADS V1.1, and it worked.
I try the FlexGen for ADS V 1.3, but it failed.
I got the ADS V1.5 and it seems still use FlexLM 7.0g(or 7.1g? I forgot). But I couldn't get the linked library to create the signature for IDA. Does V1.5 use WSP LM? then why is there still FlexLM related files in the installed directory?

i have look the date of the post, but i think it will be helpful if someone need the address.

i try to crack agilent software :e6474a, it use wspls.exe as a daemon. when i run the application dimas.exe, some menus need the dongle; if i delete the wspls.exe, then these menus seems work fine, it seems cracked, but i don't think it is true, i will check it carefully, maybe someone else can help me ?

anybody try to use "actix" visualization and analysis solutions ?
for example: viewing agilent e6474a*.sd5 files ?

older "actix" version, prior 4.1, use private *.axv files for licensing option and read dongle(support few dongle vendor) for verifying serial number from licensing files.

newer "actix" solutions based on sentinellm keys for store lisensing option.
but , protection not based on selninells, slm use only for store and encryption private vendor key.
"actix" call VLSgetFeatureInfo for asking keys and parsing vendor field for decoding licensing information.

i failled to reconstruct all slm field from parsing functions and asking for any ideas or sample "actix" slm keys ?

i also get running version, but have some problem.

serial number for actix solutions has many significance, for goog and bad option check.

for most licensed functions is need "good" answer, but for some check, like "is restricted demo version" is need "bad" answer.
no any explanation in code for answer polarity.

i can only compare program functions witch documentation, for checking good option contains in serial number.

do you resolve this problem ?

also i want talk about another wireless software, like for cdma/pcs/gsm solutions.

just find the vendor id,then caculate the serial number for SLM SDK,then crack the *.exe followed by crackz's tutorial.

I am also having aceess to Actix.
Pl tell me :-
1. What tool to use for finding vendor id?
2. I have Safenet SDK 7.3. How to calculate serial no.? Or u need some other tool?
3. Actix now uses a Lservrc file. What it is? How to craete it?

very hard to find slm sdk. for many people is his works, so, no anybody share sdk8 at rapidshare. you don't need full sdk, just wlscgen for any vendor.

also, no good decoder for slm license, for actix need use olly, and read dump codeT after slm function.
and compare you license dump, and license dump from internet for find few license setting.

also in few forum - can ask for free license.
