A .dll I have not only checks to see if it's strong named, but also checks the strong name publickeytoken over a server to match the authors, so renaming it with a separate .snk (strong name key file, using strong name helper 1.7) is not working, is there a way to fake the publickeytoken a null .dll (or reassigned) .dll sends to the server, as a workaround?

Summary: Getting the .dll to run is not a problem, it just won't talk to the server without having the original public key.
