softice crashing my system

Hi all,
Im having problems with softice on my system. before i was using WIN95,
S3 virge as video card and Softice v3.23. with this "old" specs on my
system, i had no trouble using softice. now i've upgraded to WIN98,
NVIDIA RIVA TNT2 as my video card and SoftIce v4.05. when softice is loaded in memory my system hangs, the screen is blank and only softice
is functioning. can anybody advice me as to what appropriate adjustments
i should make to my system?

go back to Softice v3.24 or v3.25 ,should work fine I have the same computer =)

I may be stating the obvious, and it seems that switching to an earlier release has fixed your problem, but did you try "faults off"?

yes indeed you're stating the obvious... :-) anywayz, my system is already working and yes the "faults off" is in my winice.dat. what caused the problem is when i installed the window$ installer for win95 on my system which running win98. i think there was a bug or something... im not sure..... but thanks ,anyway, for kind suggestion.
