You r right, its SMS but, with very small changes PA is the same as SMS. Only online authorization instead CD/DVD signature is different. You may use a standart jmp to avoid this cause return is always as CD/DVD drive (0 if fails, 1 if correct).

pa != sms, pa doesnt have the same interface for a start.

Ok, u r right again. In any case PA only opens a new "process" for a remote connection. SecuROM packer and inner routines is included in app. Ill (try to) remove the +PA add-on as u pointed,because it is not so accurate. Anyway, it is not needed a lot more to do PA, as stated above a jmp solves the problem.

TIP: PA is a "strong" add for SecuROM, and usually an extra, not the main prot. Sorry for the misunderstanding.

pa = product activation, its just one of the components, not so sure about the new process thing either, i think you're confusing that with 'release control' (used on gta iv during the install for example)...
i think you need to read up on the protections
