And for all I know, they are different persons. Jan and Joanna are rather common names.

Howdy,

I searched and I can confirm that Joanna does take credit for a talk given at hivercon 03 that was credited to Jan.

Further research does in fact show nothing attributed to Jan after mid 03.

He/She has a damn good plastic surgeon. I would have never thought that she was a he.
