Question about IDA [Archive] - RCE Messageboard's Regroupment

This is basic question about IDA Pro which I am trying to learn.

Is it possible to make changes (do a patch) and compile the file with IDA pro?
If yes, please could someone tell me how.

You need to RTFM for IDA, as you seem to be completely unaware of its function.
