Smartcheck crash in WinME with this prog...?

Hi!
I tried using smartcheck for serial fishing this VB6 prog Internet timer2 v 2.2.195 (20 day trial ?reg code)

But smartcheck keeps on crashing "error in SCNFC.dll" and "error in MFC42.dll" etc, i used the standard settings as said in most tuts for SC. What is the problem and how can this be overcome? (BTW this prog is compressed with neolite which can be easily manually unpacked with OEP= 004062FC), thanks bye! ring0.

Maybe the problem is in the App not the Smartcheck settings!!

Do u know of any Tuts for progs with anti smartcheck code? How do i identify the code?

The intent of this reply is (again) to simply encourage people to "search" on their own before they ask for help. I am a newbie at "reversing" but upon reading your post I simply went to the bottom of the TOT Messageboard and in the "search" box typed "smartcheck + detect". Try it.

The third item that appeared was a reference to a thread on the Messageboard itself that describes two methods of detecting the presence of Smartcheck. There were others that may also provide assistance.
